JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Lippo Group plans to open 12 units of hospital in Myanmar with investment cost of US$400-500 million, equivalent to Rp6.5 trillion.

Deputy Chairman of Lippo Group James Riady told to the press at the sideline of the World Economic Forum in Jakarta Monday (April 20), that Lippo Group will expand to Myanmar by firstly acquiring hospital in Myanmar.

Lippo Group opts to expand its hospital business through Siloam Hospital network as Myanmar has huge population and natural resources.

James said Lippo Group also mulls to expand to Cambodia, to develop its hospital, hotel and education businesses
