KUALA LUMPUR (Indonesia Today) – Lion Forest Industries Berhad (LFIB), through its subsidiary LFIB Plantations Sdn Bhd, had on 5 October 2012 entered into a conditional sale and purchase agreement with the vendors to acquire the entire 100% equity interest in PT Varita Majutama for a cash consideration of USD63.75 million (equivalent to approximately RM197.63 million).
LFIB acquires 70% equity interest in PT Varita from PT Karya Tekhnik Utama, for a cash consideration of USD44.62 million (equivalent to approximately RM138.34 million) and acquires 30% equity interest in Varita from Kyosen Transport Pte Ltd , a company incorporated in Singapore, for a cash consideration of USD19.13 million (equivalent to approximately RM59.29 million).
As at
