JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Indonesian banking sector disbursed loan of Rp3,518.9 trillion as of August 2014, grew by 13.4% year on year, slower from 15% in previous month.
The slowing down of credit growth occured on processing sector and trade, hotel, & restaurant sector.
While third party funds reached Rp3,735.8 trillion, rose 11.6% year on year, higher than 10.4% in July 2014.
Bank Indonesia expects lending growth will reach below its target of 15-17% for this year.
