JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The General Election Commission (KPU) has not addressed the existing problems on the Final List of Voters (DPT) for next year’s elections, and more reports about the complaining of the accuracy of the final voter list.
Gerindra, for example, visited the KPU’s office on Tuesday (Nov. 19) to complain about at least 3.7 million double voters registered in the final voter list found in 17 regencies and municipalities across the country.
“It’s just a result from a random examination. If the cross check was conducted in all 497 regencies and municipalities, the number must be bigger. We asked KPU to clean the DPT within ten days,” said Habiburokhman, one of Gerindra leader.
Previously, PDI-P also revealed their finding in some provinces in Java, Bali, and Sumatra, that 17 million problematic registered voters were included in the DPT.
As reported earlier, the KPU released the final voter list on Nov. 4 neglecting existing problems and suggestions of postponement. KPU itself admitted that some 10.4 million voters are registered without NIK in the final list. (haryantos@yosefardi.biz)
