JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The General Election Commission (KPU) has just released the revised final voter list (DPT-P) but admitted that 3.3 million problematic voters are still registered on the list.
The revised final voter list was released on Wednesday (Dec. 4). The list now consists of 186,172,508 voters after being reduced 468,423 problematic voters.
According to KPU Commissioner Ferry Kurnia Rizkiyansyah, KPU is still trying to verify the remaining 3.3 million problematic voters from 186,172,508 voters registered in the revised final voter list. Ferry said that out of 3.3 million problematic voters are identified without new identity number (NIK).
Responding to the existing problematic voters, the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) then ordered KPU to continue revising the list until March 23, 2014, fourteen days ahead of the election day (April 9, 2014).(haryantos@yosefardi.biz)
