JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Corruption Eradication Commission is expected on Tuesday (Oct. 20) to examine Patrice Rio Capella, graft suspect and former secretary general of Surya Paloh’s Nasdem Party, in bribery scandal of social assistance fund of the North Sumatra provincial administration.
KPK acting deputy head Johan Budi SP said examination session over Patrice will be started at around 10:00 am of Jakarta time. Johan, however, doesn’t know whether or not KPK will detain Patrice after the session.
The Tuesday’s questioning will be the first questioning for Patrice as suspect in the case. Previously, he was questioned as witness.
Patrice, as reported earlier, has been named as new suspect on October 15, 2015, in a bribery case developed from previous case that dragged down Gatot and his wife. He is alleged for receiving Rp200 million in bribe from Gatot and his wife.
Yesterday, KPK has quizzed Patrice’s closest friend Fransisca Insani Rahesti for hours. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
