JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has summoned Andiara Aprilia Hikmat for a questioning on Wednesday (Oct. 1) related to further investigation into the graft case of the Banten administration’s medical equipment project implicating her mother, non-active Banten Governor and graft convict Ratu Atut Chosiyah.
KPK’s Spokesperson Priharsa Nugraha told the press that the KPK will question Andiara as witness for her mother.
Andiara herself has just been sworn in as member of the Regional Representative Council (DPD) for the period of 2014-2019 this morning.
As reported earlier, KPK also questioned Atut’s son Andika Hazrumy as witness in the same case.
KPK had named Ratu Atut Chosiyah, a key leader of Golkar Party, and his younger brother, Tubagus Chaeri Wardana aka Wawan, as suspects in the Banten administration’s medical equipment graft case.
Atut and Wawan have been also sentenced to four years and five years in jail respectively for being proven guilty on bribing former Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court Akil Mochtar in the handling of Lebak regency post-election dispute. (haryantos@yosefardi.biz)
