JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Jakarta Corruption Eradication (KPK) has today (Feb. 3) scheduled to question Hediyanto W. Husaini, the Public Works & Public Housing (PUPR) Ministry’s director general for Highways Department (Bina Marga), in his capacity as a witness to a bribery scandal involving PDI-P lawmaker Damayanti Wisnu Putranti.
According to the KPK, Hediyanto will be questioned as a witness for Abdul Khoir, director of PT Windu Tunggal Utama (WTU) and another suspect in this case.
Both Damayanti and Abdul have been named as suspects in the case by the KPK altogether with two other people. They are Julia Prasetyarini and Dessy A. Edwin.
The KPK alleged Damayanti for receiving bribe from Abdul related to an infrastructure project at the PUPR Ministry. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
