DENPASAR (Yosefardi) – A politician from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) was caught red-handed by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in a bribery transaction at a five-star hotel in Sanur, Denpasar, Bali, Thursday (Apr. 9).
KPK also caught another figure identified as the briber plus seizing million rupiah of bribe money.
The two people arrested in Bali have been brought to the KPK’s office in Jakarta. But the KPK has yet to reveal the identity of them as well as the case implicating them. The KPK also has not yet revealed whether or not they arrested said two people in the same hotel of the PDI congress’s location at the Grand Inna Beach Hotel.
KPK deputy chief Johan Budi SP only said that the KPK will give official explanation regarding the case and the two suspects in the case to the press this morning. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
