JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has alleged the misuse of social aid funds at the ministerial level, after finding the irregulaties on the disbursement pattern.
KPK Deputy Chief Bambang Widjojanto told Kompas.com Thursday (March 27) that at the ministerial level, the use of social aid funds is not accordance with the Social Welfare Law No. 11/2009.
Bambang, however, did not reveal more details and mention the ministry.
As reported earlier, KPK has sent a letter to President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), demanded to freeze the disbursement of social aid funds until the end of legislative and presidential elections, for avoiding any misuse of the funds.(haryantos@yosefardi.biz)
