JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Komatsu construction machinery, unit of United Tractors, sold 211 equipments last month, dropped 34% from 318 units in July.
August 2013 sales also dropped 48% from August 2012 due to weakening sales to mining sector.
Accordingly, United Tractors reported a total of 2981 units in January-August 2013, plummeted 41% from the corresponding period of 2012.
United Tractors shares, however, was traded flat at Rp17,100 this morning (Sept 26), rebounded 19% from its bottom but still lost 11% from its peak year to date.
