JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Flow testing of Parit Minyak-3 exploration well at Kisaran production sharing contract (PSC) onshore Sumatra, Indonesia has been completed early this month.

The well flowed at a rate of around 3 MMSCFD of natural gas and 90 barrels per day of condensate on a 28/64″ choke and with a flowing tubing head pressure (FTHP) of about 1,000 psi.

“The current operation is retrieving the test string and preparing the well for suspension,” said The New Zealand Oil and Gas (NZOG) Ltd this morning.

NZOG has 22.5% interest in the block, while Pacific Oil & Gas controls 55% and Pacific Oil & Gas (Sumatra) Inc, a subsidiary of Bukit Energy Inc, with 22.5%.
