JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State pharmaceutical firm PT Kimia Farma Tbk (KAEF) allocates Rp978 billion for funding new pharmacy factory in Bandung, West Java, to produce 3.6 billion tablets per year. The company has raised Rp200 billion from issuing medium term notes (MTN).

KAEF booked net profit of Rp79.8 billion in the first half of 2015, grew by 11% from Rp71.5 billion in the same period of 2014. Revenue also rose 11% to Rp2.11 trillion from previous Rp1.89 trillion. Its assets reached Rp2.98 trillion while liability amounted Rp1.28 trillion.

Meanwhile Japfa Ltd, parent of animal feed producer PT Japfa Comfeed Tbk (JPFA), sets a joint venture company with China-based Food Union Limited.
