JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Vice President Jusuf Kalla is expected to meet Twitter CEO Dick Costolo at the Vice Presidential office on Thursday (Mar. 26). Costolo earlier wants to meet President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo but the latter is on his seven-day working visit to Japan and China.
The meeting between VP Kalla and Costolo is arranged at around 11:30 am of Jakarta time, the Secretariat of the Vice Presidential office said.
Other than the meeting with VP Kalla, Costolo is also arranged to meet Minister of Information and Communication Rudiantara.
Costolo himself comes to Jakarta to attend the grand launching of Twitter’s representative office in the capital city of Indonesia. Minister Rudiantara is also expected to present in the event.
The Twitter’s representative office in Jakarta will become the second representative office in Southeast Asia after the first office in Singapore. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
