JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Jusuf Kalla, former Vice President of Indonesia and former Chairman of Golkar Party, beats the current Golkar Party Chairman Aburizal Bakrie (aka Ical) in a recent survey on potential presidential candidate from the party.
The survey result, released by Lembaga Survei Independen Nusantara (LSIN) on Monday (Oct 21), could add more pressures on Aburizal Bakrie’s presidential nomination, one month ahead to Golkar Party national leadership meeting (Rapimnas).
LSIN placed Kalla in the top position among Golkar’s figures with Kalla’s approval rating reaching 36.9%. While Aburizal trails behind with 30.6% of approval rating.
Golkar is expected to hold its national leadership meeting on Nov. 22-23, delayed from initial schedule on Oct. 28-30, in Borobudur Hotel, Jakarta.
As reported earlier, pressures within Golkar party are growing, demanding to evaluate Aburizal Bakrie’s presidential nomination. (haryantos@yosefardi.biz)
