JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Indonesia’ export value reached US$14.18 billion in July 2014, dropped 7.99% from US$15.42 billion in June 2014. Compared to July 2013, the figure declined 6.03%.
Non oil and gas export fell 7.86% to US$11.63 billion from US$12.63 billion in June 2014. Compared to July 2013, the figure declined 9.17%.
Export non oil and gas to United States reached US$1.3 billion, followed by China US$1.19 billion, and Japan US$1.11 billion. Export to European Union totaled US$1.45 billion.
For January-June 2014 period, the export totaled US$103 billion, declined 2.97% from the same period of 2013. Non oil and gas export also fell 3.17% to US$84.77 billion.
While Indonesia’s import value reached US$15.72 billion in June 2014, up 6.44% from US$14.76 billion in May 2014. Compared to June 2013, the figure up 0.54%.
Import of non oil and gas reached US$14.05 billion in July 2014, dropped 10.47% from US$12.33 billion in June 2014. Compared to July 2013, the figure lost 19.31%.
The Indonesia posted trade surplus of US$124 million in July 2014, compared to US$300 million deficit in June 2014.
