JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – President elect Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, through social media networking Facebook, has asked for a recommendation from Indonesian people for his cabinet members.

Jokowi confirmed to Kompas.com on Thursday (July 24) that his team has launched a questionary titled “Kabinet Alternatif Usulan Rakyat” (KAUR) or “Alternatif Cabinet of People Recommendation” through a Facebook account, named as Jokowi Center.

“I’ve only asking input from the people,” Jokowi said.

Jokowi wants the people to recommend best figures deserved to become 34 ministers of his cabinet.

As reported earlier, the General Election Commission (KPU) has officially announced Jokowi as the winner of presidential election with 70,997,833 votes or 53.15% of the total 133,574,277 valid votes. Prabowo Subianto, meanwhile, got 62,576,444 votes (46.85%).

Jokowi and his running mate Jusuf Kalla, as scheduled, will be sworn in as new president and new vice president of the Republic on October 20, 2014. (haryantos@yosefardi.biz)
