JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo has asked the China’s government to grant visa-free access to every Indonesia citizen visiting the country.
President Jokowi delivered his request during his three-day working visit in China. The President and entourage arrived in Beijing, China, on Thursday (Mar. 26).
Yesterday, President Jokowi met with China President Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. After a bilateral meeting, the two leaders witnessed the signing of several memorandums of understanding (MoU) on the issues of finance, infrastructure, industry, management, aerospace, and natural disaster.
The Indonesian government itself has already planned earlier to add China and other 44 countries in Indonesia’s visa-free list.
