JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State life insurer PT Jiwasraya booked net profit of Rp200 billion in the first half of 2015 on premium income of Rp4 trillion.
The achievement was below the target but Jiwasraya will not revise its target. For this year, the company targets to book net profit of Rp600 billion and premium income of Rp9.8 trillion.
While claims payment reached Rp3 trillion by June this year, grew by 25% from Rp2 trillion in the same period of 2014.
In 2014, Jiwasraya booked premium income of Rp6.4 trillion while claims payment amounted Rp5.5 trillion.
