JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State toll road operator booked net profit of Rp730.8 billion in first half of this year, fell 18% from Rp891.4 billion in the same period of last year.

Operating income increased 43% to Rp4.75 trillion from previous Rp3.3 trillion. Income from toll project reached Rp2.78 trillion while construction segment contributed income of Rp1.8 trillion. However costs of construction business soared 242% to Rp1.79 trillion from earlier Rp526 billion.

As a result, operating profit declined to Rp1.44 trillion from Rp1.59 trillion in first half of 2012. Its assets totaled Rp26.14 trillion while liability amounted Rp16.15 trillion.

Meanwhile private toll operator PT Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada Tbk (CMNP) booked net profit of Rp201.65 billion in first half of 2013, inched down 5.2% from Rp212.19 billion in the same period of last year.

Operating income increased 6.5% to Rp472.35 billion from previous Rp443.22 billion. Income from inner cycle toll roads in Jakarta city reached Rp412.14 billion while Simpang Susun Waru-Juanda Port (Surabaya) contributed income of Rp43.98 billion.

While cost of revenues reached Rp136.69 billion. Its assets totaled Rp4.59 trillion while liability amounted Rp3.76 trillion.
