JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State-owned insurance company PT Jamsostek is now studying to build property assets consisting of office and residential, in Kuningan area, South Jakarta, which costs Rp300 billion.
Jeffry Haryadi, Jamsostek’s director for investment, said the construction, in partnership with state construction frim PT Pembangunan Perumahan Tbk (PTPP), will start before end of this year.
Currently Jamsostek has one property asset, Jamsostek tower, located in Gatot Subroto street, Central Jakarta. It targets to invest Rp746.31 billion in property assets this year.
In first half, Jamsostek’s investment in bonds reached Rp63.3 trillion, deposits Rp38.05 trillion, stocks Rp29.45 trillion, and mutual funds Rp12.42 trillion.
Jamsostek booked investment gain of Rp2.9 trillion from bonds, deposits Rp1.35 trillion, stocks Rp3.67 trillion, and mutual funds Rp1.03 trillion.
The company targets to invest Rp149.12 trillion this year.
