SINGAPORE (Yosefardi) – Interra Resources Ltd, controlled by Soeryadjaya family, continues production testing at Linda Sele fields, onshore West Papua, Indonesia.
“In the Linda Field, LDA G5TW continues to produce approximately 20 barrels of oil per day (bopd) from the Kais Formation carbonates while awaiting production equipment improvement including the addition of a higher capacity pump,” Interra said Monday (June 3rd).
Following testing of the secondary deeper objective in the Kais Formation which did not yield commercial oil production, SLE S2 was perforated over two primary intermediate reservoir zones and is currently producing 60 bopd.
“Production optimisation continues with the aim of increasing production from these reservoirs. Two shallower reservoirs that appear promising on borehole electric logs will be tested at a later date,” Interra explained.
Goldwater LS (GLS), subsidiary of Interra, has 100% working interest in Linda Sele and both wells were drilled using an externally contracted rig.
