SINGAPORE (Yosefardi) – Interra Resources Ltd, controlled by Edwin Soeryadjaya, has commenced drilling of development well TMT56 at the Tanjung Miring Timur field, South Sumatra.
Interra said TMT-56 will be drilled to a total depth of 1,250 meters. This is the first of four additional development wells to be drilled back-to-back using an externally contracted rig.
The company expects results of the drilling will be available in about eight weeks. “The cost of drilling will be funded from existing funds on hands,” the company said.
Goldwater TMT Pte Ltd, wholly owned subsidiary of Interra Resources, owns 100% working interest in the technical assistance contract with Pertamina.
