JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Indonesia’ export value reached USD14.7 billion in April 2013, fell sharply by 9% from April 2012.

Non oil and gas export actually grew 1.7% from March 2013, but oil and gas export plummeted 18%.

For the first four months of 2013, the country’s total export declined 7% from the corresponding period of 2012, mostly due to substantial drop in value of oil and gas export.

Export value of thermal coal, meanwhile, dropped in April. On the other hand, export of crude palm oil and other vegetable oil increased from March 2013.
