JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Indonesia’s economy (Gross domestic product/GDP) increased 5.8% year-on-year in the second quarter of this year, growing less than 6% for the first time since 2010, the Central Bureau of Statistics announced on Friday (August 2).
The GDP reached Rp2,210.1 trillion in second quarter of this year, increased 2.61% quarter-on-quarter. Year to date, GDP grew by 5.92%.
Transportation and communication grew by 11.46%, the higest growth.
