NUSA DUA, Bali (Indonesia Today) – Automotive financing company PT Indomobil Finance Indonesia, subsidiary of Indomobil Sukses International (IMAS), has grabbed US$75 million syndication loan from 18 offshore banks and one local bank to finance its expansion program.
Gunawan from Indomobil Finance Indonesia, said the facility has been signed on Friday, September 14, 2012. Nomura Singapore Limited and Chinatrust Commercial Bank Co Ltd (Singapore) are original mandated lead arranger of the syndication.
Participating in the syndication are Bank Mandiri (Singapore branch), First Gulf Bank, Mega International Commercial Bank, Taishin Bank, and Taiwan Cooperative Bank. Others are Bank of Taiwan (Singapore_, Chailease Finance, Bank of China, Bank of East Asia, Cosmos Bank, Emirates Bank, First Commercial Bank, Hwatai Bank, Krung Thai Bank, Sunny Bank, Taichung Bank and Yuanta Bank.
Kontan.co.id reported that Indomobil has also secured US$20 million loan from Standard Chartered Bank last week. As of June 30, 2012, Indomobil Finance’s total assets reached Rp4.7 trillion, grew 24% from December 31, 2011. The company booked net profit of Rp35 billion in the first half of 2012.
