HONG KONG (Yosefardi) – PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF) contributed income of US$92.8 million to First Pacific in first half of 2014, increased 3% from US$90.5 million in the same period of 2013.

The growth principally reflected a higher core net income which increased 27% in rupiah terms, partly offset by a 17% depreciation of the average rupiah exchange rate against the US dollar.

The growth in core net income was driven by higher average selling price in all major businesses, and the contribution of cultivation & processed vegetables group earnings.

Sales contribution from CBP, Bogasari, Agribusiness, Distribution and Cultivation & Processed Vegetables Group amounted to 44%, 24%, 17%, 7%, and 8% of the total, respectively.
