JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) dropped 2.1% to 4890 Friday (June 7) morning, dragged down by profit taking in blue chip stocks.
Unilever Indonesia, prime mover of IDX this year, collapsed 7.42%, while Telkom lost 2.23%. Semen Indonesia (SMGR) also lost 6.6%, while Bank Central Asia down 2.5%.
BRI, BNI, and Bank Mandiri lost more than 2% each, while Gudang Garam dropped 3.5%. Charoen Pokphand and Kalbe Farma, also prime movers this year, lost 3% and 2% respectively, while Indocement dropped 4%.
Coal producer Indo Tambangraya Megah and Adaro Energy lost 5.25% and 4% respectively, while Bumi Resources slipped 1.61%.
