JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended lower 0.13% at 4904 as late selling reversed the earlier gains. IDX reached its high at 4932.
Global shares rose Wednesday as investors awaited further developments after Greece failed to make a debt repayment due Tuesday, AP reported.
Alam Sutera fell 2.6%, Bumi Resources declined 1.67%, Jababebak lost 1.15%, Kalbe Farma shed 1.49%, and Lippo Karawaci dropped 2.1%.
While Astra Agro jumped 3.49%, Eagle High Plantation surged 4.62%, Bank Rakyat Indonesia gained 1.93%, Unilever hiked 1.27%, Sekawan Intipratama lifted 4.15%, Waskita Karya gained 2.96%, Wijaya Karya rose 2.59%, Matahari Putra Prima jumped 5.08%,
Nymex’s crude oil fell 1.56% to US$58.54 per barrel while gold inched up 0.01% to US$1,171.90 per ounce. The rupiah was traded flat at Rp13,331 against the US dollar.
