JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is set to resume trading normally on Tuesday (August 28) as technical problem on remote trading system resolved.
“Trading of securities will return to normal Tuesday,” said IDX management in a letter this morning.
Trading on Monday (August 27) were disrupted several times due to the technical problem on the remote trading system. IDX decided to close earlier both morning and afternoon sessions.
Asian markets opened mixed in narrow range Tuesday, with Nikkei 225 and KOSPI composite index slip 0.12% and 0.09% respectively, while STI gains 0.01%. Hang Seng slips 0.06%, while Shanghai gains 0.17%.
On Monday, Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) ended lower by 0.25%, while Nasdaq gained 0.11%. (Indonesia Today)
