JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) gained 0.28% to 4,112.63 this morning, led by blue chip stocks, helped by sentiment in regional markets.
Japan’s Nikkei rose 2.4% while Hong Kong’s Hang Seng and India’s BSE gained more than 1%. Only Shanghai and Singapore’s Straits Times were in red.
Asian markets marked a second day of gains on Tuesday after a string of upbeat factory data around the globe boosted shares and most commodities, while a delay in a potential U.S. strike on Syria diminished the safe-haven appeal of gold and the yen, Reuters reported.
