JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended up 0.1% at 4398 Tuesday (Nov 19), reversed its morning’s loss.
Asian shares edged to a two-week high on Tuesday, riding on the previous day’s hefty gains sparked by optimism over China’s economic reform plans, Reuters reported.
Astra International gained 1.5%, BW Plantation rose 1.77%, Jababeka increased 1%, London Sumatra jumped 4%, and Telkom up 2.54%. Other gainers were Adhi Karya (+2.38%), Waskita Karya (+1.1%), Bank Tabungan Negara (+5.49%), Visi Media (+5.36%), and Bumi Resources Minerals (+2.2%).
Among losers were Adaro Energy (-2.46%), Bank Mandiri (-1.9%), Bumi Resources (-3.75%), and Indika Energy (-2.56%).
Nymex’s crude oil inched down 0.12% to US$93.57 per barrel while gold increased 0.13% to US$1,274 per ounce. The rupiah strengthened to Rp11,609 against the US Dollar.
