JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) regained this morning by 0.53% to 4830 at 9.30 am Jakarta time, led by gains in blue chip stocks.
The index ended down 1.45% at 4805 Tuesday (March 18) as profit taking hit, mainly blue chip stocks.
This morning, Adaro Energy rose 1.54%, Aneka Tambang jumped 3.56%, Astra International gained 2.27%, Alam Sutera increased 1.53%, Bumi Serpong Damai climbed 2.08%, Bumi Resources hiked 1.96%, and London Sumatra lifted 1.1%.
U.S. stocks climbed for a second straight session on Tuesday while regional markets were mixed this morning.
Nymex’s crude oil inched down 0.01% to US$92.24 per barrel in Asian trading this morning. Gold also inched down 0.03% to US$1,358.60 per ounce.
