JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened lower this morning but has regained 0.13% to 4457 at 9.12 am Jakarta time.
Most stock indices in Asia fell this morning on concern that China’s stalling economy negatively impacts on the pace of global economic growth, while markets are also bracing for a looming US interest rate hike before the year-end.
Nymex’s crude oil fell 1.2% to US$43.67 per barrel in Asian trading this morning while gold rose 0.26% to US$1,091.30 per ounce.
Adaro Energy gained 1.64%, Astra International rose 1.54%, Alam Sutera increased 1.1%, Charoen Pokphand climbed 2%, Indocement jumped 3.87%, Semen Indonesia hiked 3%, and Lippo Karawaci lifted 1.73%.
