JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened up 0.1% at 4438 this morning, to tracking most markets in Asian region.

White House official said U.S. President Barack Obama will nominate Federal Reserve Vice Chairwoman Janet Yellen to be the next head of the U.S. central Bank.

Nymex’s crude oil inched down 0.1% to US$103.39 per barrel in Asian trading this morning. Gold also declined 0.54% to US$1,317.50 per ounce.

In Jakarta bourse, coal stocks led gain; Bumi Resources (+1.1%), Bumi Resources Minerals (+2%), Berau Coal (+0.54%), and Indika Energy (+1.25%).

Other gainers were Telkom (+1.12%), London Sumatra (+1.44%), Indofood (+1.49%), Matahari Putra Prima (+1.08%), and Japfa Comfeed (+4.76%),.
