JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened up 1.2% to 4536 this morning to tracking gains in regional markets.

Asian stocks jumped to three-week highs on Friday, propelled by gains on Wall Street as investors took a chance and cheered perceived progress to avert a possible U.S. default, even as questions remained over whether a deal could be struck, Reuters reported.

Nymex’s crude oil declined 0.3% to US$102.69 per barrel in Asian trading this morning. Gold fell 0.58% to US$1,289.40 per ounce.

In Jakarta bourse, Lippo Karawaci gained 1.96%, Adhi Karya rose 1.6%, Astra International increased 0.74%, Bank Rakyat Indonesia added 1.24%, Semen Indonesia hiked 2.89%, and London Sumatra lifted 2.1%.
