JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened up 0.7% at 4944 this morning, extending yesterday’s gain.
As happen yesterday, the trade might be volatile along with the political development, mainly the presidential race scheduled in July.
Bank Rakyat Indonesia gained 1.43%, Alam Sutera rose 2%, Bank Mandiri increased 1.48%, Jababeka climbed 1.2%, Kalbe Farma hiked 1.24%, London Sumatra lifted 1.12%, Timah up 1%, Aneka Tambang rose 1.26%, and Telkom gained 1.2%.
Regional markets were also in green zone. Nymex’s crude oil declined 0.14% to US$103.92 in Asian trading while gold increased 0.33% to US$1,292.40 per ounce.
