JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened up 0.45% at 4566 this morning, inline with markets in Asia region.
Telkom gained 1.06% as the company expects to book 10% growth in net profit for third quarter of this year. Telkom might post profit of Rp11 trillion in the period.
While Bank Negara Indonesia rose 1.65%, after reporting 30% profit growth. It booked net profit of Rp6.54 trillion in first 9 months to September this year, compared to Rp5.04 trillion in the same period of last year.
Other gainers were Alam Sutera (+1.64%) , Bank Mandiri (+1.2%), and Charoen Pokphand (+2.5%).
Nymex’s crude oil increased 0.28% to US$101.15 per barrel in Asian trading this morning. Gold meanwhile fell 0.5% to US$1,316.30 per ounce.
