JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened up 0.3% at 5457 this morning while regional markets were mixed.

Asia markets zigzagged on Friday as traders parsed through a deluge of earnings from U.S. corporate heavyweights. US stocks hit new high on Thursday (April 23).

Nymex’s crude oil fell 0.36% to US$57.53 per barrel in Asian trading this morning and gold declined 0.2% to US$1,191.90 per ounce.

Astra International gained 1.27%, Bumi Resources rose 1.3%, Unilever Indonesia climbed 2.93%, Indocement hiked 1.29%, Indo Tambangraya lifted 1.03%, and Bukit Asam gained 1.68%.
