JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened up 0.28% at 4697 this morning inline with most markets in the Asia region.
Nymex’s crude oil increase 0.1% to US$98.10 per barrel in Asian trading and gold rose 0.15% to US$1,868.20 per ounce.
Adaro Energy gained 1.59%, Lippo Karawaci rose 1.38%, Alam Sutera hiked 0.8%, Sentul City lifted 3.26%, Bumi Serpong Damai up 0.9%, Jababeka climbed 3.07%, and Perusahaan Gas Negara increased 2.8%.
Today, governors of Bank Indonesia will make a decision on the benchmark BI Rate policy which currently reach 7.5%. The macroeconomy is now improving as well as the liquidity issue. Bank Indonesia might opt to maintain BI Rate at current level for providing a certainty to market over the ongoing efforts for improving current account deficit.
