JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened up 0.27% at 5260 this morning while regional markets were mixed.
Nymex’s crude oil declined 0.27% to US$59.72 per barrel and gold fell 0.51% to US$1,218.90 per ounce.
Astra International gained 1%, Jababeka rose 1.74%, Kalbe Farma increased 1.4%, Perusahaan Gas Negara hiked 1%, Semen Indonesia lifted 1.73%, and Unilever climbed 2%. While Indo Tambangraya dropped 8.3%, Indofood fell 1.74%, Astra Agro lost 1.83%, and Adaro Energy declined 1%.
Foreign investors booked net sell of Rp380 billion on Wednesday (May 13), cutting year to date net buy to Rp9.6 trillion. Year to date, agriculture stocks has fallen 4.2% while property gains 3.8%.
Trade-service-investment sector gained 9.53% year to date, consumers goods rose 5.79%, and finance gained 4.55%. While basic industry-chemicals lost 14.9%, infrastructure-utilities-transportation fell 9.9%, and mining declined 6.8%.
