JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened up 0.2% at 4388 this morning, while regional market were mixed. The rupiah inched down 0.1% to Rp14,470 per dollar this morning.
The Federal Reserve held off on raising interest rates, reviving concerns about weakness in both the U.S. and global economies, Reuters reported.
Nymex’s crude oil fell 0.4% to US$46.71 per barrel in Asian trading while gold rose 1.13% to US$1,129.60 per ounce.
Bank Danamon gained 2.2%, Alam Sutera rose 1.2%, Bumi Serpong Damai increased 1.4%, Eagle High Plantation climbed 1.94%, Charoen Pokphand hiked 1%, XL Axiata lifted 2.25%, and Bukit Asam gained 1.32%.
