JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened down 1% to 4,120 this morning to tracking regional markets. India’s BSE dropped 3.45%.

Asian stocks faltered on Wednesday, while oil and gold held on to overnight gains after President Barack Obama clinched the backing of two key figures in Congress in his drive for limited U.S. strikes on Syria, Reuters reported.

In Jakarta bourse, blue chip stocks led market’s correction. Astra International fell 1.69%, Alam Sutera dropped 3.77%, Bank Mandiri lost 2.86%, Lippo Karawaci shed 3.77%, and Telkom slashed 3.4%.
