JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened lower 0.9% at 4444 this morning, extended yesterday losses. While concerns about slowing growth in China pressured Asian shares and oil prices.
Foreign investors booked net sell of Rp438.5 billion on Wednesday (August 19), bringing year to date net sell to Rp1.03 trillion.
Nymex’s crude oil fell 0.8% to US$40.90 per barrel in Asian trading this morning while gold rose 0.56% to US$1,133.40 per ounce.
Alam Sutera fell 2.45%, Sentul City dropped 3.95%, Bumi Serpong Damai lost 2.08%, Lippo Karawaci slashed 2.37%, Vale Indonesia declined 2.1%, Timah fell 2.59%, XL Axiata shed 2.71%, and Jababeka lost 2.08%.
