U.S. stocks fell more than 1% on Wednesday after spending much of the session in the green as oil prices tumbled nearly 4%, Reuters reported.
Asian shares declined early Thursday, as investors digest the data releases that could provide a gauge on the state of China’s economy, Cnbc.com reported.
Nymex’s crude oil inched down 0.02% to US$44.14 per barrel in Asian trading this morning while gold rose 0.37% to US$1,106.10 per ounce.
Astra Agro dropped 3.47%, London Sumatra declined 3.36%, Adaro Energy lost 3.45%, Bank Negara Indonesia fell 3.75%, Vale Indonesia declined 3.3%, Indo Tambangraya shed 3.07%, Jababeka slashed 2.6%, and Perusahaan Gas Negara lost 2.85%.
