JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened lower 0.7% at 5124 this morning following regional markets.

Nymex”s crude oil dropped further 4.1% to US$57.49 against the US dollar while gold declined 0.29% to US$1,222.10 per ounce.

Oil Prices sank more than two percent to 5 1/2-year lows early on Monday on concerns about a supply glut and slower global growth, feeding fears for energy and commodities producers and exporters, Reuters reported.

Among oil and gas stocks, Energi Mega lost 1.9% and Elnusa fell 2.27%. While Medco Energy was flat. Coal casino spiele stocks, Adaro Energy declined 1.95% and Bumi Resources dropped 2.86%.

Other losers were Adhi Karya (-1.46%), Waskita Karya (-1.23%), Wijaya Karya (-1.64%), Multipolar (-2.23%), and Matahari Putra Prima (-2.2%).

Among blue chip stocks, Alam Sutera lost 2.59%, Bumi Serpong Damai declined 1.68%, Lippo Karawaci dropped 2.27%, Bank Rakyat Indonesia fell 1.5%, Bank Negara Indonesia shed 1.67%, Bank Mandiri slashed 1.86%, and Jababeka slided 1.63%.
