JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened lower 0.2% at 4931 this morning while Asian shares were steady.
Nymex’s crude oil increased 0.13% to US$102.79 per barrel in Asian trading and gold rose 0.1% to US$1,245.70 per ounce.
Indonesia starts campaigns for a full month today. Investors might be worry over growing movement of people. Some see potential conflict between supporters during the campaign, although both camps have pledged a peaceful campaign.
Telkom lost 1.37%, Vale Indonesia fell 1%, and Bank Central Asia declined 1.2%. While Aneka Tambang and London Sumatra down 0.8% each.
