JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened lower 0.43% at 5121 this morning following regional markets.

Asian stocks stumbled to a five-week low on Monday after a batch of disappointing data out of China raised the specter of a sharp slowdown in the world’s second-biggest economy, Reuters reported.

Nymex’s crude oil fell 0.73% to US$92.27 per barrel in Asian trading and gold declined 0.18% to US$1,234.80 per ounce.

Adaro Energy lost 1.15%, Bank Rakyat Indonesia fell 1.65%, Bank Central Asia declined 1.04%, Bank Mandiri shed 1.47%, Jababeka shed 1.1%, and Telkom slashed 1.08%.

Other losers were Waskita Karya (-1.71%), Multipolar (-1.32%), Pakuwon Jati (-1.71%), and Hanson International (-1.6%).
