JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened up 0.6% at 4608 this morning to tracking gains in regional markets.

Wall Street recorded closing high on Friday last week. Australia’s All Ordinaries gained 1.17% and Japan’s Nikkei rose 0.8% this morning.

Nymex’s crude oil rose 0.8% to US$97.85 per barrel in Asian trading this morning. Gold increased 0.15% to US$1,352.50 per ounce.

For this week, investors will look on US further policy on tapering as the Fed will hold open market committee (FOMC) on Oct 28-19.

In domestic market, companies’ reports for financial performance in the third quarter of this year will drive the market.
