JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened higher 0.43% at 4278 this morning while regional markets were mixed.
Nymex’s crude oil increased 0.4% to US$93.01 per barrel in Asian trading. Gold rose 1% to US$1,250.40 per ounce.
Investors might focus on economic data, especially inflation and external trade, to be released by Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) today. These data will also influence next week’s decision from Bank Indonesia to keep or raise its benchmark rate.
Bank Rakyat Indonesia gained 2%, Bank Mandiri rose 1.3%, BW Plantation climbed 3%, Pakuwon Jati rose 2%, and Matahari Putra Prima gained 1.76%.
